Among
the House, Trance, and Techno tracks that make up the "Plugged
In" mix are many previously unreleased exclusives, never before
available on vinyl or CD. Much of the music comes from Phatt
Phunk's own roster of top talent, including a track written
and produced by Andrew Clyne himself. Other labels represented
on "Plugged In" are Fade Records and IN-TEC Records, the latter
being the label of worldwide phenomenon Carl Cox Key cuts
include Christian Smith and Trevor Rockcliffe's "Definition
of Love" Smith & Selway's remix of Trevor Rockcliffe's "Visions
of You," Grant Plant's "To Summer with Love," Moogwai's Trauma
mix of "I Get a Rush" by the fisher Project and "Seed Sound"
by Seed, currently beard around the world as an acetate on
the decks of John Digweed After

Mark Lewis' "Global Frequencies: Tokyo" is now in stores everywhere. This CD is Phatt Phunk Record's most ambitious endeavor to date. "Global Frequencies: Tokyo" features a 16-page full color booklet documenting "the journey," which became DJ Mark Lewis' tour of Japan. The first 10,000 CDs released are in a limited edition digi-pak. Mixmag has voted Mark one of the top 10 best new DJs for the new millennium. Paul Oakenfold was quoted describing Lewis' DJing as "creative versatility, uplifting mixing, futuristic journey." Featured in Mark's brilliant set is Paul Van Dyk's hit vocal mix of The Thrillseekers "Synaesthesia," currently climbing the radio charts in New York & Miami. Timo Maas, Parks & Wilson, SEED and Thunderpuss, just to name a few, will also tingle your auditory senses. In addition, there's a beautiful 16-page photo booklet (pictures by Ray Klein) encompassing Mark's tour of Japan. The entire package is a virtual cornucopia of stimuli.

"PLUGGED IN" will be the first installment of a new Phatt Phunk Records series. This CD will feature unreleased and future vinyl only releases from Intec (Carl Cox' label), Ritual Sounds (Phatt Phunk Record's brand new Deep Tribal Trance imprint) as well as tracks from Phatt Phunk Records. L.A.'s rising star Andrew Clyne will mix this compilation. "Plugged In" will be in stores August 28th, but keep checking our website for chances to win preview copies.
